Humane Society

Jacksonville, FL., September 18th, 2010 Foundation Financial Group’s Department Heads participated in a philanthropic event benefiting the Jacksonville Human Society. The Jacksonville Humane Society was established in 1885 as the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). They provide medical care, shelter, nutrition, and love to homeless cats and dogs until permanent safe homes are found for the animals. The JHS also provides education about animal welfare issues, offers pet behavior training, and runs elementary school outreach programs. Additionally, Foundation Financial Group made a significant monetary donation to the JHS as they are only funded through individual donations, wills and bequests. The JHS does not receive any state or federal funding.
